Embedded Software Engineer
We’re looking for an Embedded Software Engineer to help design, build, and support software that powers our advanced electronics. In this role, you’ll work closely with hardware, R&D, and other engineers to create reliable solutions for connected systems.
This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working in small, fast-moving teams, taking on a variety of challenges, and being hands-on across the full development process.
This role is 5-days Onsite in Raleigh, North Carolina.
What You’ll Do

Develop and maintain embedded software for microcontrollers and Linux-based systems.

Work with C/C++ and integrate software with hardware components and peripherals.

Collaborate with hardware and DSP engineers on system design and testing.

Support connectivity features, communication protocols, and system integration.

Contribute to system testing, deployment, and ongoing improvements.

Follow best practices in coding, documentation, and version control.
What We’re Looking For
-
5+ years of experience in embedded software development.

Strong programming skills in C/C++.

Experience with embedded Linux
and scripting (Python, JavaScript, or similar). -
Familiarity with communication protocols (I2C, SPI, UART, CAN, Ethernet, LTE).

Experience with debugging tools and Git.

Great problem-solving and communication skills.

Comfortable working independently in a dynamic, startup-like environment.
