Linux Engineer/Onsite/Wayne, PA

An established media marketing company in Wayne, PA is seeking a Linux Engineer to join its technology team onsite. This full-time role will focus on Red Hat Enterprise Linux systems engineering, virtualization, and automation, with additional responsibilities in networking and security support.

The position offers the opportunity to work in a primarily virtualized VMware environment while gaining exposure to cloud platforms such as GCP and Azure. It is well-suited for candidates with a strong background in Linux systems who are eager to apply their expertise in enterprise infrastructure while supporting ongoing automation initiatives.

Required Skills & Experience:

• 5+ years of hands-on experience with Linux systems administration (RHEL builds, upgrades, implementations)
• Strong background in VMware and virtualized environments
• Familiarity with automation tools such as Ansible or Terraform
• Exposure to cloud platforms including GCP and Azure
• Ability to troubleshoot and optimize enterprise Linux systems
• Strong communication skills and ability to work onsite in a collaborative environment

Desired Skills & Experience:

• Exposure to Palo Alto firewalls or similar network security technologies
• Scripting experience (Python, Bash, or PowerShell)
• Experience with hybrid on-prem and cloud environments
• Understanding of networking fundamentals (routing, DNS, firewalls)
