Senior Software Development Engineer

We’re seeking a Senior Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) to join a fast-paced technology team based in Newton, MA. This hybrid role (3 days onsite) offers the chance to work on cutting-edge automation frameworks, CI/CD integrations, and high-quality software solutions. This is a full-time direct hire opportunity.

They’re looking for a quality-focused engineer who can lead test automation initiatives, improve efficiency across the SDLC, and collaborate with developers to ensure best-in-class system performance. You’ll be joining a collaborative environment where your expertise in test frameworks, CI/CD, and performance testing will directly impact product reliability, scalability, and user experience.

Required Skills & Experience
· Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
· 7+ years in software engineering and functional automation
· Proficiency in Selenium, Playwright, Cucumber, TestNG, JUnit, JMeter/Neoload, and Appium
· Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines
· Knowledge of Docker/Kubernetes for test environments
· Strong database skills 

Desired Skills & Experience
· Master’s Degree in Computer Science or related field
· 3+ years of DevOps or test data management experience
· Proficiency in Python, Java, and TypeScript
· Familiarity with Microsoft Azure and GCP
· Knowledge of data management tools such as Delphix or IBM Optim
