Grow your career as a Data Governance Analyst with an innovative global bank working in Irving, TX. Contract role with strong possibility of extension. Will require working a hybrid schedule 2-3 days onsite per week.

This role is about governance and encryption compliance to help the organization reduce and manage the risks related to one of the company's biggest assets: our data. Everything is related to encryption, transmission and storage of data, and other data protection topics. You will work alongside some of the smartest minds in the industry who are excited to share their knowledge and to learn from you.

Contract Duration: 12+ Months

Required Skills & Experience
  • 6+ years of Information Security experience.
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office/Excel.
  • Proven analytical and quantitative skills.
  • Data driven and results-oriented.
  • Professional, customer-service oriented.
Desired Skills & Experience
  • Information Security/ ITIL Certifications.
  • Knowledge of company processes and tools like Archer, Cognos, CSI, Business View.
What You Will Be Doing
  • Manage the monthly data protection encryption metrics by researching and analyzing data.
  • Support reconciliation efforts to update monthly compliance reports using various internal applications.
  • Understanding of Compliance Management and Risk & Governance as part of Log Analysis/Reviews/Monitoring.
  • Creating process documentation like Process control manuals, process maps/flow charts, BRDs.
  • Maintain compliance monitoring activities in Excel spreadsheet for audit deliverables.
  • Handling Incident and Problem management. Identifying Root cause (RCA) , corrective (CA) and (PA) for the issues.
  • Display a high level of critical thinking in cross-functional process analysis and problem resolution for new and existing products.
  • Has the ability to operate with a limited level of direct supervision.
  • Work with various groups to identify process gaps and develop training material for internal businesses.
