Senior Product Security Engineer for Medical Device Start Up

We are partnered with a rapidly growing medical technology firm that specializes in identifying vulnerabilities in medical device companies. They offer servers such as security, risk, and compliance testing to healthcare and medical device organizations. They are looking for a Product Security Engineer that will be responsible for developing and implementing security strategies and identifying and assessing security risks. In this role, you will develop security requirements and design features for new products and develop and maintain security policies and guidelines. You should have a good understanding of offensive security tooling. This is a remote role that can be done virtually anywhere in the US. Required Skills & Experience

• 3+ years of experience in product security or a related field
• Strong understanding of software development and product security best practices
• Experience with threat modeling and risk assessment
• Experience with secure coding practices and vulnerability assessment tools
• Knowledge of healthcare data privacy and security regulations (e.g. HIPAA)
• Strong communication and collaboration skills

Desired Skills & Experience

• Bachelor's Degree in Information Security or a related field.
